1. Introduction and Acceptable Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of Tranquil Retreats Limited (“www.tranquil-retreats.com”).
By accessing the Site, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes.

Part 2: Booking Terms & Conditions

4. Booking Procedure & Contract Formation
How to Book: Bookings are made via our website or email. We accept queries over the phone, email and text, but a confirmed booking will need to be made via our website.
A booking is considered confirmed only once we have received your payment and you receive a Booking Confirmation from us.
Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring that all details provided during the booking process (dates, contact info, guest numbers) are accurate.
Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your slot. All prices shown are in full unless otherwise stated.

5. Amendments and Rescheduling (Exchange Policy)
Customer Requests: If you wish to change your booking date or time, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
Availability: Changes are subject to availability. If we cannot accommodate your new requested time, the original booking remains valid unless cancelled under Section 3.
Admin Fees: We reserve the right to charge a small administration fee of a maximum of £5 for any manual changes made to a confirmed booking.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Your Right to Cancel:
More than 7 days notice: You are entitled to a full refund [minus any non-refundable card processing fees].
Between 48 hours and 7 days notice: You are entitled to a 50% refund or a credit note for a future booking.
Less than 48 hours notice: No refund will be issued for “late” cancellations or no-shows.

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you book online, you have a 14-day right to cancel for a full refund, unless the service date falls within those 14 days and you have explicitly requested the service to begin.

Our Cancellations: If we must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., staff illness or technical failure beyond our control), we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.

Tranquil Retreats reserves that right to refuse treatment.

Provisions of Service:
Tranquil Retreats explicity reserves the right to refuse treatment wihtout reason.
Tranquil Reteats may decline care or services if a client/student/customer behaves inappropriately, is abusive, intoxicated, unable to pay, or puts any member of staff at risk.

7. Late Arrivals and No-Shows
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time. If you are late, your booking may be shortened or cancelled without a refund to avoid disrupting subsequent clients.

8. Liability & Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, power outages).

9. Subscription & “Hidden Fees” Disclosure (DMCC Act 2024)

10. Clear Pricing:
The price shown at checkout in (£) is the total cost, including all mandatory taxes and fees. There are no hidden “drip” charges.

11. Auto-Renewal:
Your subscription will automatically renew on day of purchase, each month or year depending on option chosen. You will be charged the same amount in (£) using your original payment method unless stated on our website or notified by email.

12. Reminder Notices:
You will be sent a reminder email 7 days before your subscription renews or before any introductory trial period ends.

13. Easy Cancellation:
You can cancel your subscription at any time with no exit fees.
To cancel:
Log in to "My Account" > "Subscriptions" > Click "Cancel".
Or, email info@tranquil-retreats.com with the subject "Cancel Subscription".

14. Refund Rights:
Under the DMCC Act, you have a 14-day cooling-off period following your initial purchase and any subsequent 12-month renewal.

Verification Process: We take reasonable and proportionate steps to ensure our reviews reflect genuine consumer experiences.
Incentivised Reviews: We clearly disclose if any reviewer received an incentive (e.g., a discount or free product) in exchange for their feedback.
Review & Testimonial Policy To ensure the integrity of our platform, all reviews are verified. We do not allow employees or paid third parties to submit fake reviews. The only time we may use AI is for the generation of videos, however all voiceovers and humans in videos are genuine and created by a human and not AI generated. We do not use enhancers or similar for any our work.
