MaWangDui DaoYin Shu is an ancient QI GONG method from the Han dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD). It works with the 12 Meridians of Qi-Energy flow and through the organ energies to invigorate the Qi.
Due to the nature of MaWangDui QI GONG which has a continuous interplay of Yin to Yang Qi and Yang to Yin Qi and is further coupled with the External - Internal connections (Cosmos and Earth Qi - External; Your Energy matrix - Internal) the effect on the Qi-Energy matrix is extremely harmonising.
The MaWangDui QI GONG postures are also excellent for dissolving Qi stagnations within the physical, mental and emotional Qi/Energy aspects of Self.
As the Qi/Energy flow from the Outside to the Inside increases and harmonisation occurs there is the potential to achieve a WuJie state allowing for direct experiences of Emptiness or the Void state of Awareness.

"Mawangdui Daoyin Shu presents a series of qigong forms based on those shown on the famous silk paintings excavated from the Mawangdui tombs of Changsha, Hunan Province.
…they are among the oldest and best preserved silk works in China, and provide a fascinating insight into the early history of qigong.
Dating from the Han Dynasty, these easy-to-learn movements work with the flow of vital energy through the meridians and encourage connection between the external movements of the body and the internal activity of the mind. Through rising and squatting, extending and withdrawing the limbs, bending and stretching, the movements help maintain health and cultivate the spirit.
This accessible and beautiful form will be of interest to experienced practitioners and beginners alike, and especially to those interested in the authentic connection with forms practised in ancient China."1

Qi Gong/Energy Skill is the ancient system of Vital Energy Cultivation developed by Chinese QiGong teachers over many thousands of years.
It is the fundamental aspect of Traditional Chinese Medicine which works on harmonising the Qi/Energy flow of the Organs (ZangFu) & their associated Meridians (JingLuo) through Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, QiGong & TuiNa.
Combinations of meditative focus, breathing methods, movement & stillness techniques are all aspects of QiGong, by interacting with & manipulating the Qi within our bodies as well as interaction with the multitude of Qi fields around us, one can achieve an abundance of Qi flow resulting in relaxation, health, rejuvenation & vitality.
